Budgie hand taming / trust help!?

hi, I have a hand tamed budgie (not sure if it was hand fed) that I got from a lady that had him since he was an egg. He is about 2 and a half years old and he will let me pick him up by my finger no problem at all , however when he hops on sometimes hell run his beak up and down my finger vigorously and it looks quite aggressive. He doesn't actually bite my finger but "nibbles" so Why does he do this? And how can I get him to stop doing it? Second He is very very wary about where my hand is at all times. He doesn't like it at all when I put my hand behind him because he always turns around so he can face it. That is also why I can't pet him. Any suggestions? I know this is probably caused by lack of trust but I don't know how to get the trust up higher. Question about stokes law?

I have really done it now, I have walked away for a marriage that was five months in the making. So here is the scoop, may wife and I have been arguing and really on the brink of the edge of diviorce for about month. I have jealously issues, and also trust issues, she has done things like not tell her friends about me, or lieing about that she is on the welfare system and all sort of little and big lies that has made me not trust her. She is also very diffrent around people, she acts in a total diffrent manner and treats me as if she has me wrapped. I loved this women this women also has 4 children 7,8,9,9, are the ages. I tried last night to talk to her and I did it in an inapproiate manner which I admit I tried to force her to talk to me but that was not the right way to go about it. I tried to tell her that I feel that this will not work because, of my unstability with in my life now understand there is a 20 year age gap, I am 24 she is 44 and we just reacently bought a house that needs lots of work. I first met her at the salvation army where I went to get istiant with some problems that I was having. I went in there and when she saw me she was hitting on me, I was in a despreat situation where I was needing help Because at the time I was very very unstable, drugs, booze where ramphant in my life. Anyways she decided to take me to her house to help me get on my feet. Before we went to her house she pulled up at the school to get her four girls that are 7,8,9,9. Then she introduced me then we went to her apartment. Long story short we start a serious relationship it started off slow but pick up pace very quickly, in about 3 months after we met she started to say you should marry me and I said don't you think that we need to get to know one another first maybe give it a year before marrige. But she said if you love me and I love you why does it matter. Well so we did March 1 2009. Now we recently moved from the apartment and in the process of buying this house that needs lots of work. That was three months ago We have non-stop worked and watched the kids, and taking care of the dog, the cat, trying to organize, the place is a mess, No organiztion what so ever, I was working 50 hours a week Y she stayed home with the kids for the summer, She was to work and organize the house and watch the kids why I worked at the factory which I hated, I felt like a robot and felt like I was just there bring home the money and then after I get home from working 10 hours I would work on the house until dark to help get it livable. So I left it was all to much for me to handle and now I am called a coward and to wacth out is what she says because god will repay you . I now dont know what to do please any advice would be great.

I must admit that it is a little strange for an elderly divorcee to invite a young female to his home without suggesting you bring a friend or two with you. Eclectus parrot temperaments!?

Out of the 120+ birds that I help care for, my very favorite one is an Eclectus. I'd never heard of this breed, until I met Haley. She is a rescue bird, and had plucked herself nearly bald. She is the friendliest, most lovable bird I've ever known. She isn't a big talker, but she makes a quiet little chortling noise when I hold her... kind of like what purring is to a cat. She's also not a screecher, which is wonderful. Based on my interaction with Haley, I would definitely put an Eclectus on the top of my list.

PARENTS AND TEENS whos wrong or right?? should parents be like this?

Technically the parents own the child until he/she is 18 years old, and still only being 16, the child still has to abide by their parents rules while living under their roof. This child's parents raised and cared for her for the past 16 years, the least said child could do is come home at a reasonable hour to ensure this child's safety and their parents peace of mind. When you're a teenager it all seems like such a big deal and your parents are always the enemy, but the reality is people, no matter what age, gender, height, weight, race, whatever, get picked up off the street in broad daylight, and the chances of that are tripled at night. This child's parents just want their child to be safe because they love them. They didn't purposely ruin their relationship and embarr them because they want to ruin the child's life. That's the exact opposite of what they are trying to do. In this situation, I don't think either party is guilty. I think both parties probably think they're right, and that's why their both wrong. Think about the story from ALL point of views, that changes things.

there is some misunderstanding. the regular i.e. dominant form of judaism now and for many centuries past has been rabbinic. practically all jews are rabbinic jews. there is a tiny number of karaite jews who are not rabbinic. the difference in theory anyway is that the rabbinic jews accept the idea that in addition to the written law (torah) there is an equally valid oral law, which for many centuries was forbidden to be written down and eventually was set down in the talmud--whereas the karaites do not accept this. it is commonly thought that the rabbinic jews are direct descendants of the pharisees mentioned in the NT (this was before the oral law was written down of course). of course, like all human religions and ideologies, it is all partly eyewash. the advocates of the oral law as we have seen ended up writing it down, and those who reject it of course have their own interpretations of the torah which in effect constitute their own oral law (and in some cases are less literal in their interpretations that rabbinic jews). anyway rabbinic is regular simply because the karaites refused to accept converts or to intermarry and so gradually their population shrank, whereas rabbinic jews have done both for centuries and have become far more numerous. there are also samaritans, who are not considered jews at all, but are closely related, who also do not accept the talmud and whose torah is slightly different and who preserve many of the ancient traditions like animal sacrifices and the original hebrew alphabet (the jews use the aramaic alphabet).

Broken Leg question!?

OK. so aproximately 7 weeks ago, i broke my leg iceskating. tib fib fracture(spiral tib, shattered fib). No surgery because im 13.I was in the orginial long leg cast from the ER up until last monday. my doctor sent me to this dude to get a fracture brace for my leg. he told me i would get the measurments done on my unaffected leg and that he dosnt want my cast off yet because he dosnt want to disturb the alignent.so i go to the guy, he takes off the cast with the misunderstood permision of my doctor, traumatized me. he bent my knee 90 degrees after being stuck straight for so long. i was through the roof! worst pain of my life, worse than when i broke it. ugh it was so bad. so now i have trust issues. then , he put my old cast back on me by taping over it. so i went home hysterically crying with a herman monster cast. then i went to the dr, they gave me a new long leg cast. i got pain that night in my heel , and turns out i got a stage 1 pressure ulcer. then i got that cast off, got another LLC , and here i am. Im very scared of getting that pain again. i have terrible trust issues now, as i dont know who to believe , if there gonna hurt me, etc.its been such an emotional roller coaster and its horrible.im afraid of physical therapy because i dont want that pain or any pain of that sort, but i know i have to. i want it to be over. i think i may be out of this cast next week or during winter break ....how am i supposed to walk out of the office with my knee stuck and if its bent ill be in terible pain...but i like wanna get out of this cast but im scared S***less honestly...please please help me with any advice!im a wreck!

I had 3 ectopic pregnancies in a row. 1st ended in mc, 2nd tube ruptured (right side) had emergency on Dec 7th to remove my tube, 3rd methotrexate shots...took about 2 months to disolve pregnancy. I have had 1 heavy very painfull cycle and one late light short cycle and have been having pain in my ovary area on my left side pretty bad. And im extremely irratible. He's a cheater, lier, drug/alcohol abuser, ist, jobless, has genital and didnt tell her til after the deed was done, vehement, dysfunctional, ex-con, that has made it abundantly clear that he cares not for her future, their sons future, or much less his own. I can say all of this from 17 years of knowing and growing up with this guy, watching him, he's even been at some of my parties. I know what kind of scuzzball he is. I told my sister that 2 years ago and now she is finding it out the hard way. She knows he has cheated on her and with whom. The same chick he cheated with also came to the hospital via his invite when my sister gave birth to their son. She knew already and yet didn't go nuts on her. She cries all the time about him. I know how naive she is and its very bothersome. Heres my dilemma, my Mother, my Wife, my brother, my in-laws, even my 6 year old daughter does not like him and want me to step in, Im the one they call on to handle certain matters that they can't. The thing is we are not children anymore, not teenagers, we all have kids of our own now and age has complicated some things. I can't just beat him up and the problem is resolved. Anything I do affects the future hers and mine. However she doesnt want me to interfere, much less be in the same vicinity as her b/f. I respect her wishes, or at least I want to and I have thus far. We are the closest in our family and I love her dearly so I try not to "big brother in" anymore but, this crappy relationship she's in has gone on long enough without hope. My family and I all feel she doesnt leave cause of her son and she's scared of the outcome if she did. She has had a ton of abuse already from my father and other gender related pricks, so I've made a career out of protecting her and making her "problems" go away. So I need to know, should I perform another magic trick for her and poof he's gone and she can just pick up where she left off. Her son and her can have some chance at a normal existence or do I remain neutral and allow her to live her life as she requested. It hurts and is driving me insane to watch this happen knowing not only is he at fault but, so is she, especially after the heartache and sorrow he's already put her through. Me and my fiance have been having steadily for about 4 weeks since he came home.. I missed my period about 4 days ago.. I've been experiencing cramping, bloating, mood swings, tenderness, more discharge than usual, eating habits are off.. I took a test today and it came bak negative bt I'm just feeling lke I am.. with my first child I got pregnant on the 14th (3 days into trying) and I "felt" I was pregnant by the 28th... bt I didn take a test till I was close to 10 weeks... Capturing and keeping a feral cat and her kittens?

a few weeks ago a seemingly young cat started coming by our house. we started feeding her and she started coming every day. she let's us pet her but she's still wary. we can't make sudden movements around her. but she loves to be petted. So i'm guessing she's not fully wild. a couple weeks later she brings some kittens, 3 of them. they were afraid of us and still are, unlike the mom...i think the kittens are a couple to a few months old. they still nurse but they eat dry kitten food as well. the mom doesn't even look like she's 1 but i don't know. for sure. so how do i go about capturing and taming all of them? would they all be able to live together? the mom has stepped in our house before, but only at the door. thanksss

I have a 3 year old daughter...?

I have a daughter that will be 3 in November. She was off the py before a year old. Then my grandma and mom started giving them to her. She constantly has one in her mouth! I hate that she is almost 3 and craves a py a.k.a. "pow pow". What is a good way to break them of this. Also, she is not fully potty trained yet. Sometimes she just goes to the bathroom, and other times she goes in her pull up. I tried letting her wear underwear, and she likes them. It seemed like she went to the potty more with the underwear on instead of the pull up, but she has ended up going in the underwear...not fun when I have newly shampooed carpets and a new couch :) any ideas of how to fix these problems?

Can using the heater and the A/C blow out the compressor?

No. the heater is made hot from the hot in radiator and motor. the a/c is made cold from the freon and all the a/c components. I would start by checking the compressor relay and fuses then checking the control panel where the a/c on is located that you have been pushing, and the wire that's going to the compressor to make sure it's plugged in all the way and free of dirt and grease.

We moved here 3yrs ago. We both had very good city jobs but i convinced my partner to move here to be closer my parents. What are you christmas traditions?

My father ped away in 1981 and my mother ped away last November, sorry to spoil the Christmas spirit but that's just to say that there isn't much of a family Christmas anymore. My brother is going to spend Christmas with his ex, who is still a good friend of his and I'm going to spend Christmas with my son at my girlfriend's home (with all her family around). Traditionally we eat cod (some people prfer octopus) and maybe turkey the next day, plus all the fine Christmas traditional desserts such as rabanadas, sonhos, filhoses, bolo rei, aletria, leite creme and others. That goes well with some fine wine and maybe a Port or whisky at the end of the meal. At midnight we all exchange presents and that's it. When I was a kid we didn't receive the presents till the morning of the 25th (because Jesus as a Child brought them) but since Santa took over things have changed. Snacking issues after school..?

3 chickens is not much....they dont lay every single day. Of course you can mix breeds. My parents had like 80 chickens and they were all different kinds...its only the males that like to fight which causes problems if you have a whole bunch (I would say 1 male to every 20 hens) but I doubt your getting males since you want eggs. That space is fine...as long as they can all move around without bumping each other. They do like to take dirt baths though so make sure you have a little area of dirt they can lay in.

Why does he only talk to me at school?

I know a guy from school since 5th grade. He's in my homeroom and we talk at school a lot. It's the end of the school year so we went back to homeroom for 2 hours at the end of the day.
