Why did Mel Gibson get so upset just because his Russian wife dressed up y?

I know right he did not have to use racial slurs. Im pretty sure he got upset because he dosent want anyone else looking at his wife and he is afraid that she might leave him.. How small of him to belittle his wife smh if she wants to look nice let her be
