What are you christmas traditions?

My father ped away in 1981 and my mother ped away last November, sorry to spoil the Christmas spirit but that's just to say that there isn't much of a family Christmas anymore. My brother is going to spend Christmas with his ex, who is still a good friend of his and I'm going to spend Christmas with my son at my girlfriend's home (with all her family around). Traditionally we eat cod (some people prfer octopus) and maybe turkey the next day, plus all the fine Christmas traditional desserts such as rabanadas, sonhos, filhoses, bolo rei, aletria, leite creme and others. That goes well with some fine wine and maybe a Port or whisky at the end of the meal. At midnight we all exchange presents and that's it. When I was a kid we didn't receive the presents till the morning of the 25th (because Jesus as a Child brought them) but since Santa took over things have changed. Btw, I'm speaking from Portugal in case you found some of the names here weird...
