How to deal with this?

well, today after school this kid, Jeremy and i started talking. It was weird, because im anti-social and he's mr. popular. I came over to the table where my friends Brandon and Keith were sitting. I started drawing and he asked me to draw stuff for him. So, does he want to be my friend? or was it just this one time? And at recess we were talking too.
