What does my bf have!? please help ?

Alright so my bf is sick. He has no fever but is slighty congested. He has a sore throat and part of his left ear is clogged 70% but he has no pain. Idk if its a sinus infection or cold. I got him some meds that the pharn said but he said its for allergies but he's not allergic to anything?? Please anything is better of what this could be. Thanks for your help.
