Ladies can you explain your birth pain?

okay so i want to get pregnant but i know everyone is different and i hear different women speak on there behalf of labor and all and i hear some women say it wasnt painful i hear some women say it was and i hear that they took the nedicine to help with the pain but the medicine didnt work i hear some say the medicine did work and iwas jus wonderin lke maybe on a scale from one to ten can you rate your birth pain or desribe it because i dont want to have pain that is unbearable i mean is giving birth really that terrible of pain?i heard some woem even say they have felt a burn instaed of pain and i heard that contractions hurt but not pushing thebaby out please explain.im kind ofscared
