I think i've lost my faith in humanity. Will reason ever triumph in the face of ignorance and hatred?

Unfortunately I don't think so. Individual people are smart for the most part, but society as a whole is just plain stupid. The only comfort I can offer here is that our generation will probably die out before we all kill each other.
